Pro Tip #18
There was once a Greek army marching in Asia and supplemented by a column of Jewish archers. The Greeks saw a bird land in front of the army, and quickly stopped proceeding and called their augur. The leader of the Jewish archers asked the augur why they were stopped and what he was doing. The Augur proceeded to explain that the bird's movements could foretell the future, and that if the bird moved forward, then the army should advance, but if it moved backward the army should retreat, and that they shouldn't move until the bird had given its signal.
The Jewish Archer then pulled out his bow and shot the bird. The Augur, completely agape, asked "Why did you do that?"
The Jewish Archer replied, "If the bird was so good at predicting the future, why couldn't it see that I was going to shoot it with an arrow?"

Pro Tip #17
Always assume that your opponent is smarter than you think.
Never assume, however, that he is smarter than you.
